Above the crowds on a more snow-free section of the Pohono Trail. Five years ago we spent weeks hiking in snow on the PCT. I was exhausted and I remember telling Rob: “I never want to walk on snow again!” This weekend, after spending the last year mostly at home, it was really nice to get out and hike in the snow for a few hours. #eatmywords #hikemoreworryless #optoutside #yosemitevalley #elcapitan #halfdome #getoutside

A rock cracked our windshield this morning, and we needed gas but we both forgot our wallets. But a day spent in the mountains is still better than a day at home! And I’m glad some gas stations take Apple Pay. 😂 #optoutside #winterhiking #winterwonderland
